What kind of relationship can I have with my sponsored child?
Kids of Hope encourages each sponsor to develop a relationship with his or her child. There are several ways you can communicate with your child,
and through personal correspondence you
and your child can learn more about each other.
You can expect to receive letters or hand-drawn pictures from
your sponsored child, and sometimes pictures are taken just to
send to you. The sponsored children's eyes light up when they receive letters
addressed to them personally and photos of their
overseas families. We encourage you to communicate as much as you
can with your sponsored child. He or she would love to hear
about your family, pets, and interests and also see a picture
of you.
Can I visit my sponsored
child?
We would love to help you coordinate a trip to
visit with your sponsored child personally and to witness God's
transforming work through your partnership with Kids of Hope.
How often will I get updates on my sponsored child?
We will keep you posted on the progress of your child every
three to four months and request you to be in touch with us as well.
Surely you will have pioneered a life full of hope in your child
that will be long remembered.
How can I make a donation?
You can send a check to Kids of Hope, P.O. Box 700925,
Tulsa, OK 74170-0925, or you can pay online through PayPal or a
credit card. Just click the "Donate" button under the
picture on the right.
How do I enter this in my taxes?
At the end of the year, you will receive a tax
deductible receipt/statement specifying your annual giving
towards Kids of Hope.
What happens if I forget to make a payment?
Once you have decided to make monthly
payments, we will send you a reminder card for your next payment
if we do not hear from you first.
